The much-awaited Vivo V29 5G is set to make its way into the Indian market soon. Following its global release in August, Vivo has now officially teased the launch of the Vivo V29 series in India, including the Vivo V29 Pro. Previously leaked specifications have been confirmed, and the company has also hinted at the possible launch date.
Vivo has showcased the V29 models on its official website, giving us a glimpse of the handset in three stunning color options: Himalayan Blue, Majestic Red, and Space Black. Excitingly, the red variant of the phone is reported to feature a color-changing back panel. While the exact launch date was not explicitly mentioned, a note in the ‘Know More’ section of the landing page reads, ‘Stay Tuned, Until we meet on October 4.’
One of the standout features of the Vivo V29 series is its ultra-slim 3D curved AMOLED displays. Both the base and pro models have a thickness of just 7.46mm and weigh 186 grams and 188 grams, respectively. Additionally, the phones will boast a Smart Aura light, further enhancing their overall appeal.
Following the trend set by the global variant, the Vivo V29 model is expected to flaunt a spacious 6.78-inch full-HD+ (2800 × 1260 pixels) curved AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. Under the hood, it is likely to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G SoC, paired with the Adreno 642L GPU. With 8GB of RAM and 256GB of inbuilt storage, this phone will ensure smooth and efficient performance. It will come pre-loaded with the latest Android 13-based FuntouchOS 13.
Turning our attention to the camera capabilities, the Vivo V29 will feature an impressive 50-megapixel sensor, along with an 8-megapixel sensor equipped with an ultra-wide-angle lens. On the back, it will also house a 2-megapixel camera. For stunning selfies and video calls, the front camera will house a 50-megapixel lens. To protect against water and dust, the phone will carry an IP68 rating, and in terms of security, it will incorporate an in-display fingerprint sensor. Powering these devices will be a robust 4,600mAh battery with support for 80W fast charging.
