In a recent development, the battery capacities and wattage of the iPhone 15 series have been unveiled through a regulatory database, shedding light on Apple’s latest smartphone offerings. Although Apple typically does not disclose detailed battery specifications, a report indicates that the iPhone 15 Pro models boast slightly larger batteries compared to their predecessors. Notably, the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max stand out with their new 3nm A17 Pro chip, which is expected to deliver improved efficiency and performance compared to last year’s Pro models.

According to a report by MySmartPrice, a Chinese regulatory database has disclosed crucial information regarding the battery capacities and wattage of all four models in the iPhone 15 series – iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Pro Max.

The report highlights that the iPhone 15 is equipped with a 3,349mAh battery, providing ample power. In terms of wattage, it boasts a rating of 12.981Wh. Comparatively, the previous iteration, iPhone 14, housed a slightly smaller 3,279mAh battery. On the other hand, the iPhone 15 Plus excels with a larger 4,383mAh battery, accompanied by a commendable wattage of 16.950Wh. This is a slight improvement over the iPhone 14 Plus, which had a battery capacity of 4,235mAh.

Moving on to the iPhone 15 Pro, it adopts a 3,274mAh battery with a wattage rating of 12.70Wh. Notably, this surpasses the capabilities of the iPhone 14 Pro, which featured a 3,200mAh unit. Additionally, the flagship iPhone 15 Pro Max takes the crown with a robust 4,422mAh battery, accompanied by a wattage of 17.109Wh. This represents a marginal increase compared to its predecessor, the iPhone 14 Pro Max, which possessed a 4,323mAh battery.

Unlike other smartphone manufacturers, Apple refrains from openly sharing battery capacity details. Instead, the company focuses on the typical battery life offered by each device. According to Apple, the iPhone 15 Pro Max leads the pack, guaranteeing up to an impressive 29 hours of video playback. Meanwhile, the iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 offer 25 hours, 23 hours, and 20 hours of battery life, respectively.

In addition to the battery specifications, a recent report has unveiled another closely guarded Apple specification – RAM size. Apple’s iPhone 15 Pro models have become the first handsets featuring a noteworthy 8GB of RAM, while the non-Pro models are equipped with 6GB of RAM. This represents an upgrade from the previous generation’s 4GB and 6GB options.

With these advancements in battery capacities, wattage, and RAM, the iPhone 15 Series positions itself as a powerful and long-lasting smartphone range. Apple’s commitment to enhancing user experience continues to drive innovation within the industry, delivering superior performance and efficiency for tech enthusiasts worldwide.
