This new device is anticipated to be released alongside the Galaxy Tab S9 later this year. Currently dominating the foldable smartphone market, Samsung’s latest foldable smartphones are the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4. It is worth mentioning that Apple is also expected to launch a foldable iPad in 2025.
Renowned tipster Revegnus (@Tech_Reve) on Twitter has hinted at the possible arrival of Samsung’s first foldable tablet later in the year. This device is expected to bear the name Galaxy Z Tab and will be launched simultaneously with the Galaxy Tab S9 series.
There have been speculations about Apple’s plans to introduce its first foldable iPad in 2025. Should this rumor hold true, the introduction of the Galaxy Z Tab will provide Samsung with a competitive advantage over Apple, allowing them to capture a significant market share.
